Pacific Highway Okinawa Ltd. is a startup ICT company. It was founded in March 2021 in Naha City, Okinawa.
The management team has been in the ICT industry for many years and has managed various solution businesses in the areas of ICT hardware, software, communications, and services with ICT companies globally.
Okinawa has the largest tourist market in Japan where tourism resources are concentrated. The tourism industry is the largest source of income for Okinawa has been hit hard by the COVID-19 by causing a drastic decrease in the number of tourists and a sharp decrease in the tourism income. In other words, the COVID-19 has given a negative impact on the entire economy of Okinawa.
In addition, the impact of the COVID-19 affected not only the local economy, but also the lifestyle and culture of the people in Okinawa. It may not be difficult to imagine in the future people can easily come into close contact with each other as in the past.
